Mikhail Anatolyevich Zhurba, born on January 23, 1953, in Horlivka, is a Soviet and Ukrainian historian. He is a Doctor of Historical Sciences and a professor, recognized as an academic at the Ukrainian Academy of Historical Sciences. Zhurba serves as a senior research fellow in science and technology, directed the Slavic World Research Center, and heads the Department of History and Archaeology of Slavs at the National Pedagogical University of M.P. Drahomanov. He is also the chief editor of the scientific journal 'Gleanings of Agrarian History' and the international journal 'Euro-American Scientific Cooperation'.
