Muhammad Din Taseer, also known as Deen Muhammad Taseer and popularly as M. D. Taseer, was a prominent Pakistani Urdu poet, writer, and literary critic born on 28 February 1902 and passing away on 1 December 1950. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of the progressive movement in Urdu literature, significantly influencing literary thought and expression in Pakistan.
