Mayankodu Kelath Narayanan, born on 10 March 1934, is a distinguished former Indian Police Service officer. He served as India's National Security Advisor from 2005 to 2010, taking over after Jyotindra Nath Dixit's passing. He later held the position of the 19th Governor of West Bengal from 2010 to 2014. In recognition of his contributions, the Government of India honored him with the prestigious civilian award, Padma Shri, in 1992.
