M. Ramkumar is an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Tamil Nadu. He represented the Papanasam constituency and was affiliated with the Tamil Manila Congress in 2001 and the Indian National Congress in the elections held in 2006 and 2011. He served as chairman of the Thanjavur district panchayat from 1996 to 2001. Despite his significant prospects in the 2011 elections, he lost to R. Doraikkannu of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, whose party secured 203 seats, displacing the DMK.
