M. Shamsher Ali, born on November 21, 1937, is an international nuclear scientist from Bangladesh. He has served as the former president of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, and as the vice-chancellor of Southeast University. Additionally, he is a founding vice-chancellor of the Bangladesh Open University, contributing significantly to the field of science and education in the country.
