Initially a hobbyist writer, he has published over twenty books. Using his practice experiences as inspiration, his works often focus on animal welfare. Jagermeester, who also wrote a column for the dog magazine Woef, incorporates humor and serious themes into his narratives. Since 2013, he has shifted from writing children's books to focusing on adult literature.
