McCollen Ntsikelelo Jack, known as Mac Jack, was a prominent South African educator and politician. A member of the African National Congress, he was appointed to the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in June 2013. Jack held various positions including Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Transport, Safety and Liaison, MEC for Health, and MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism. In May 2019, he became the MEC for Education after previously being demoted in May 2017. He was born on March 8, 1965, and passed away on August 12, 2020.
