MacDella Cooper is a Liberian politician and philanthropist, born on March 13, 1977, in Monrovia. She was exiled to Côte d'Ivoire during the First Liberian Civil War and later rejoined her family in the US. An accomplished student, she graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Electronic Communications. An international businesswoman, Cooper founded the MacDella Cooper Foundation and Academy, and is the Political Leader of The Movement for One Liberia. In 2016, she announced her candidacy for the Presidency of Liberia for the 2017 elections.
