Machindra Kasture is an Indian chef born on August 12, 1962, based in New Delhi. He was the first chef for the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, having served there from 2007. Kasture received the National Tourism Award for Best Chef of India in 2016. As the executive chef to a head of state and a member of Le Club des Chefs des Chefs, he represented India at notable meetings, including with President Obama and UN Secretary Ban Ki-moon in 2013, and Queen Elizabeth II in 2014.
