Lt Gen (Ret.) Madan Mohan Lakhera, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, born on 21 October 1937, is a retired Indian general and former Governor of Mizoram, serving from July 2006 to September 2011. Prior to that, he was the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from 2004 to 2006, and he also held the position of Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. His military and administrative background contributes significantly to his leadership roles in various capacities.
