Mads Vinding is a Danish bassist born on December 7, 1948, in Copenhagen, known for his preference for jazz music. He became a professional musician at the age of 16 and served as the house bassist at the legendary venue Montmartre. With a prolific career, he has participated in over 800 recordings and more than 1000 radio/TV shows. Vinding has collaborated with the duo Jane & Shane since 2012. In recognition of his contributions to music, he received the Ben Webster Prize in 1982.
