Maggie De Block is a Belgian politician born on April 28, 1962, and a member of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats (Open VLD). She was named the most popular politician in the Flanders provinces in 2013 and 2014, and in February 2015, she became the most popular politician in Belgium overall. De Block served as Minister of Social Affairs and Health in the Michel Government. After a cabinet reshuffle on December 9, 2018, she also took on responsibilities for asylum and immigration.
