Magnor Jørgensson Midtun, born on March 27, 1932, in Eivindvik, Norway, is a Norwegian banker, local historian, and politician affiliated with the Liberal Party (Venstre). He served as the bank manager at Gulen Sparebank from 1968 to 1990 and was a member of the municipal council for eight years. As a historian, he focused on local history from Gulen, including its economic and organizational development, as well as stories from the Viking Age and Middle Ages. In 2002, he was awarded the Royal Norwegian Silver Medal of Merit.
