Magnus Buflod was a Norwegian lyric poet, born on April 20, 1908, in Trysil, Hedmark, where he lived his entire life. He was not only a poet but also a painter and fiddler, earning his livelihood as a craftsman. Buflod published several poetry collections, including 'På leiting' (1934) and 'Før frosthogget fell' (1976). He was married to Mina, the sister of poet Einar Skjæraasen. His works have been featured in various Norwegian poetry anthologies, and many of his poems have been set to music.
