Sayadaw U Narada, born Toe Kywe, was a prominent Burmese Buddhist monk and the founding sayadaw of Maha Bodhi Ta Htaung. Known as Bodhi Tahtaung Sayadaw, he significantly contributed to Buddhism by planting thousands of Bodhi trees and establishing numerous pagodas and Buddha statues. He began his monastic journey at age 13 and dedicated many years to studying Buddhist literature. His legacy includes the lush Bodhi Tahtaung ground that features over 9,000 Bodhi trees, making him well-known locally and globally. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 75.
