Majd al-Din al-Najafi al-Isfahani (1908-1983) was an Iranian Muslim scholar, religious teacher, and poet, known for his contributions to Islamic sciences. Born in Najaf, he pursued religious studies in Isfahan and Qom, eventually returning to teach for over forty years in various Islamic subjects, including jurisprudence and mathematics. He was a respected imam and authored several works in Islamic jurisprudence as well as a poetry collection in Arabic and Persian. Al-Najafi passed away in his hometown and was buried outside the Shah Mosque.
