Majvor Irene Franzén, born May 21, 1938, in Grycksbo, Dalarna, is a Swedish stamp engraver and graphic artist. She began her studies at Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm in 1959. Her first stamp engravings were for a Greenland issue called 'Norrsken,' produced in July 1962 and released on March 7, 1963. Franzén was employed as an engraver at the Swedish Postal Service from October 18, 1966, until 1987, during which she created nearly a hundred Swedish stamp engravings and is represented in Kalmar Art Museum.
