Makoto Nomura (born October 4, 1968) is a Japanese composer, melodica player, and pianist. He is active in a range of fields beyond music, including the arts and theater. Notably, he developed a unique collaborative composition method called 'shōgi composition,' which he frequently employs in his workshops. Nomura leads the melodica orchestra 'P-Bro' and serves as a board member of the NPO 'Artists and Children.' Additionally, he is the director of the Collaborative Theatre Festival.
