Makoto Takō, born on June 3, 1968, is a Japanese songwriter, arranger, and guitarist. He is the leader and vocalist of the rock band The Permanents. He founded the independent label 'YOUNG RECORDS' in 1999. Takō hails from Tokyo and is known for his contributions to the Japanese music scene. He shares an educational background with Masakazu Mimura from the comedy duo Summarize, as they both attended the same junior high school.
