Maksim Goranov is a Bulgarian musician and singer born in Pleven. He has played with the band 'Diana Expres' during two periods (1980-1982 and 2002-2004), and collaborated with John Lawton of 'Uriah Heep' in 2012. Goranov is also known for his involvement with the band 'El Zet' (1985-1986). In 2009, he co-founded a new version of 'Diana Expres' with other musicians. In recognition of his 70th anniversary, he received the Honorary Badge from the mayor of Pleven.
