Malcolm John Edwards, born on December 3, 1949, is a notable British editor and critic focusing on science fiction. He served as Deputy CEO of Orion Publishing Group until 2015 before becoming chairman of Gollancz. Edwards has edited the British Science Fiction Association's journal, Vector, and launched the acclaimed SF Masterworks series. He was actively involved in science fiction fandom and held various positions, including Director of the Science Fiction Foundation and Chairman of the 45th World Science Fiction Convention. He was also a Guest of Honour at Loncon 3 in 2014.
