She gained fame as a sex expert on the SVT show Sköna söndag in the 1980s and later hosted Fräcka fredag. With a degree in social work from Lund University and a diploma in sexology, she has worked as a clinic leader and writer for various publications. Ivarsson has also lectured internationally and co-hosts the podcast 'Till sängs.'
