Mali Music, born Kortney Jamaal Pollard on January 12, 1988, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer from Savannah, Georgia. He gained recognition with his first two albums, The Coming (2008) and The 2econd Coming (2009), released independently. In 2011, he made history as the first inspirational artist in BET's 'Music Matters' series. His debut single with RCA, 'Beautiful,' led to his major-label album, Mali Is... (2014), which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
