Her clients included attorney Guță Vernescu, singer Doina Badea, and filmmaker Ion Popescu Gopo. She had two sisters, Gabi and Alexandra, also fortune tellers, and she is the mother of four sons and daughter Rodica Gheorghe, who claims to be Mama Omida's only heir. Many witches and fortune tellers claim to be related to her to enhance their reputations. Her name has become synonymous with someone who knows everything and can predict the future.
