Mamen Moreu is a Spanish comic book artist born on February 22, 1985, in Osca. She studied artistic high school in Osca followed by graphic arts at the Joso School in Barcelona. From 2009 to 2013, she published work in El Jueves. In 2014, she focused on creating her graphic novel Resaca, published by Astiberri. Moreu left El Jueves in protest against censorship of a cover dedicated to the Spanish royal family, along with her mentor Albert Monteys. Since 2013, she has also collaborated with the magazine TMEO.
