Manfred M. Marent is an Austrian Capuchin priest and missionary born on October 22, 1930, in Schruns, Vorarlberg. He studied at various schools and entered the Capuchin novitiate in Innsbruck in 1947. After his ordination in 1954, he served in Ried im Innkreis and then in Perjen, Landeck. In 1960, he became a missionary in Madagascar, where he supports schools and hospitals.
