Manfred Ströher is a German basketball sports official, born on March 25, 1937, in Bad Kreuznach. He was elected as the referee officer of the German Basketball Federation (DBB) in 1963 at a young age of 26 and later became the DBB president from 1980 to 1994. Ströher played a significant role in the 1972 Munich Olympics and served on various international basketball committees, including the FIBA Technical Commission and the FIBA Central Board. He has been the FIBA treasurer since 1994 and has held important positions within the International Basketball Foundation.
