Mangetsu Oyamada was a Japanese broadcast writer and screenwriter, born on March 24, 1948, in Fukushima City, Japan. He was affiliated with the Japan Screenwriters Guild and served as a lecturer at the NSC Tokyo School. Oyamada's real name was Tomio Oyamada and he had a family, with two sons: Orin Oyamada, an actor and musician, and Takine Oyamada, a web writer. He had noteworthy friendships, particularly with writer Daisaku Taki. He passed away on March 21, 2018.
