Mani Neumann, born Manfred Neumann on January 14, 1958, in Hilden, Germany, is a German violinist and composer. He founded the group Farfarello in 1982 and was a member of the Romanian band Phoenix from 1979 to 1981 and again from 1988 to 2008. Neumann plays the violin and blockflöte and is known by the nickname Der Teufelsgeiger, which translates to 'The Devil's Violinist.'
