Mansoor Hekmat (July 4, 1951 - July 4, 2002) was an Iranian Marxist figure and leader of the Workers' Communist Party of Iran. He initially became prominent in opposing the Shah's regime and later, after the Islamic Revolution of Iran, he resumed his opposition to the Islamic Republic's authorities. He was married to Azar Majidi. Hekmat played a significant role in the establishment of the Workers' Communist Party of Iran, the Communist Party of Iraq, and was influential in the Kurdish Communist Party.
