He gained recognition for his artwork 'Kunst og Farver' located in Oehlenschlægersgade, Copenhagen, which began in 1992 in preparation for Kulturby 96 and was completed in 2000. In addition to being a visual artist, Tafat was also a painter and ceramicist.
