Manuel 'Manny' Pardo Jr. was an American serial killer and former police officer active in Florida. Between January and April 1986, he murdered nine individuals, leading to his conviction on nine counts of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to death and executed in December 2012. Pardo had previously worked with the Florida Highway Patrol and the Sweetwater Police Department. His criminal activities shocked the community, highlighting the dangers posed by individuals in positions of trust.
