Manuel Sanchís Martínez (born March 23, 1938 - died October 28, 2017) was a Spanish footballer known for his time at Real Madrid, where he was part of a dominant team in the 1960s. He won four La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and one UEFA Champions League. Sanchís played 143 La Liga matches and was capped 11 times for the Spanish national team, including appearances in the 1966 FIFA World Cup. He is also the father of player Manuel Sánchez.
