Manuel Tarín i Iglesias (1919-2007) was a Catalan journalist from Barcelona, brother of fellow journalist Josep Tarín i Iglesias. He played a significant role in Catalan media, directing Ràdio Barcelona from 1963 to 1973 and later El Noticiero Universal until 1977. Tarín was a promoter of cultural movements, contributing to the Nova Cançó and introducing Catalan in programming. He founded the Serenísimo Capítulo de Caballeros del Vino to support Catalan viticulture and co-created the Club de la Llave de Barcelona. He authored an autobiographical work, a novel, and a historical piece.
