Born on October 9, 1936, in Manila, he began his career at Manlapaz Publishing and was involved in the first Noli Me Tangere comics. He gained international recognition by working with DC Comics and later transitioned to traditional and digital illustration. After a stint in the Middle East, he returned to the Philippines to create murals and comic strips chronicling his experiences. He passed away on August 10, 2005, at the age of 69.
