Marat Bisengaliev is a Kazakhstani violinist and conductor, born in 1962 in Almaty. He leads both the West Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra and the TuranAlem Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also the founding music director of the Symphony Orchestra of India and serves as the head of the Uralsk International Violin Competition. He spends most of his time in either the United Kingdom or India. Additionally, he is the father of singer Aruhan Galieva.
