Marcel Bruijns was a Dutch journalist, radio and television maker, and presenter, active from 1969 until 2001. He began his career at AVRO and later worked for TROS Aktua as a reporter, presenter, and editor. Known for his sense of humor, he famously impersonated a Palestinian mediator in 1980. He briefly served as a political reporter before retiring in 2001. Bruijns passed away in 2009, after a notable career in broadcasting.
