Marcel Glesener is a Luxembourgish politician and trade unionist, born on April 17, 1937, in Esch-sur-Alzette. He is a member of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and has served as a legislative deputy in the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg since being elected in 1989. He was a member of the party since 1957 and served as president of the Luxembourg Christian Trade Union Confederation (LCGB) from 1980 to 1996. He has been re-elected multiple times, demonstrating significant political influence.
