Marcel Melcher is a Swiss sports journalist and former skeleton racer born on April 22, 1959. He won the Grand National at the Cresta Run in St. Moritz in both 1979 and 1980, becoming the youngest winner of the race at age 19. After his sports career, he became a managing director in the family business and later worked as a freelance editor and program director for various Swiss radio stations. Since 2007, he has served as a sports editor and reporter for SRF, where he has also provided commentary for major football tournaments.
