Marcel Nguyễn Tân Văn, also known as Marcel Van, was a Vietnamese Redemptorist brother born on March 15, 1928, and died on July 10, 1959, in an internment camp in North Vietnam. He is revered as 'The Apostle of Love' for his spiritual teachings following the 'Little Way' of Thérèse of Lisieux. Van claimed to have received visions and locutions from significant religious figures, including Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. His cause for beatification was initiated in 1997 by archbishop Nguyễn Văn Thuận.
