Marcel Schaffrath is a former German ski jumper born on December 28, 1981. He represented the club WSV Oberhof 05 and achieved notable success in his junior career. Schaffrath won a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Team in 1999, where he jumped distances of 83 and 88.5 meters. He also participated in the Continental Cup during the 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 seasons. In addition, he set a summer hill record in Klingenthal at 84.5 meters on June 29, 1997.
