Since October 2010, he lived in Sarajevo, working as a freelance correspondent for various media outlets in the Netherlands and Belgium. Prior to that, he spent five years with LLiNK as a presenter and editor. He is known for his documentaries, including his first feature film, 'Liever Stil,' in 2012, focusing on young deaf individuals. In 2017, he became the NOS correspondent in the Middle East, based in Beirut.
