Marcela Adriana Rizzotto is an Argentine swimmer, basketball player, athlete, biochemist, and researcher. Born on April 21, 1955, in Rosario, she is one of Argentina's most celebrated Paralympic medalists, winning six medals in swimming, including two golds, and one bronze in wheelchair basketball at the 1976 and 1980 Paralympic Games. Due to her sports achievements, she has been recognized as a Master of Sport in Argentina. Rizzotto also works as a biochemistry researcher, specializing in metal complexes with biological significance, having published 25 research papers until 2016.
