Marcelo William Elío Chávez was a Bolivian politician and journalist, born on 15 May 1966 in Oruro, Bolivia. He was a member of the Movement for Socialism and served in the Chamber of Deputies, being elected as President from January 2014 to January 2015. In September 2015, he was appointed deputy minister of interior but resigned in March 2016. Tragically, he passed away in Oruro on 27 July 2020 at the age of 54.
