Marcus Haddock, born on June 19, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, is a distinguished American opera singer and voice teacher. His 25-year stage career includes leading tenor roles across the United States and Europe. He trained at the Boston University College of Fine Arts and rose to prominence after winning the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 1984. Primarily based in Europe during the late 1980s to late 1990s, he returned to American stages in 1998. Notable roles include Rodolfo in La bohème and Don José in Carmen. He retired in 2009 and transitioned to teaching voice in 2012.
