Marcus "Basskran" Schloussen was a German rock musician and bassist, known for his work with the band Renft. He grew up in a musical family and studied music before briefly working as a chemical technician. Schloussen co-founded the rock band Setzei in 1978 and later joined Reform. He was a freelance musician working with various theaters and played with the chamber music group heureka. He became a member of Renft in 1999 and passed away at the age of 65 on December 1, 2019, after a long illness.
