Marek Brodský is a Czech musician, lyricist, visual artist, publicist, and actor, born on May 19, 1959, in Prague. He is the son of actor Vlastimil Brodský and has a half-sister, actress Tereza Brodská. In 1983, he co-founded the band Nahoru po schodišti dolů, where he served as the leader, drummer, and main lyricist until 2005, after which the band reformed as Schodiště. He entered acting by chance, debuting in the film 'Dneska přišel nový kluk' and starring alongside his father in the comedy 'Rozpuštěný a vypuštěný'.
