Cecily Margaret (Peggy) Guido was an English prehistoric archaeologist and finds specialist. Born on August 5, 1912, in Beckenham, Kent, she had a career spanning over sixty years in British archaeology. Guido was renowned for her field methods and pioneering research on prehistoric settlements, burial traditions, and artifact studies, particularly on Iron Age to Anglo-Saxon glass beads. She published more than 50 articles and books during her career, which lasted from the 1930s to the 1990s. She passed away on September 8, 1994, in Bath, Somerset.
