Margaret Kitchin (1914–2008) was a Swiss-born classical pianist known for her association with contemporary music, particularly by Michael Tippett. She began her musical education in her hometown and later moved to England where she premiered numerous works by various composers. Kitchin was prominent at the Edinburgh Festival and performed frequently, including over 200 BBC recitals. Although she produced few recordings, her performances are archived in the British Library. She was married twice and had two daughters from her first marriage.
