Margit Buen (1912–1998) was a Norwegian traditional singer from Tuddal, Hjartdal in Telemark. She was the daughter of fiddle maker Hans Johnsen Tjønn, making her the sister of fiddle maker John H. Tjønn and fiddler Bergit Tjønn. Margit was married to Anders A. Buen and had five children. She influenced the musical production of her daughter Agnes Buen Garnås and collaborated with Jan Garbarek in their 1989 work 'Rosensfole'. Margit was passionate about traditional fiddle music and shared various folk tunes with her sons, particularly variations learned from Svein K. Løndal.
